Has anyone here used Revolut? How does it compare to privacy.com for EU users?

Can you use the tap to pay on your phone without using Google Wallet?

Do you have any sources for attaching a revolut card to the phone’s NFC? Is that a service they provide in their app or do you mean copying the card chip manually?

WDYM by source? You just open phone settings, NFC and choose Revolut to be the app to be used with NFC
If you choose to be issued physical card there probably is a way to just copy it physically into NFC but I haven’t used that
Revolut is just another bank. It’s just a little less behind the times than most

Yeah it’s a bank, and most banks do not support NFC payments in their apps, you need Google Pay or Apple Pay. Revolut is not listed in the available payment apps.

The closest thing I’ve found regarding this is this community request which still hasn’t been resolved https://community.revolut.com/t/support-nfc-functionality-directly-in-the-revolut-app-for-android-without-google-pay/191216

Huh? All the other banks I use support it

But you’re right regarding Revolut. I just checked and I was wrong, it’s not there in the settings. I have no idea how I used it with NFC in the past, then. Most of the time I use BLIK

Revolut does not show up as NFC payment app on my phone. My bank’s app and Google Pay do.
