You just can see some level of shock going through r/news for instance. And just very sad comments of actual people losing touch with their actual families, mothers, etc because the US just had to fuck up some shit. It’s sad to see, and I hope it is a new wake up call for many.
And then you have some literal insane Reddit brains saying: yes but it was under Trump! (And months under Biden too for that matter) so they can act as if everything is good now.
Yeah i see that too and it truly misses the point that this is just what the CIA exists to do and always has done; Put American capital and its interests above all else and pursue them at all costs. The correct response to this is to dismantle the CIA as is long overdue anyway but that is obviously out of the question for anyone even close to the power to do that
