Nope. The rich are greedy and I’m just saying that not all of them think Trump is smart investment.

… the lion’s share of confirmed contributions from the biggest political givers—the top 100 families—have flowed to Republican candidates and groups.

In the “hard money” category—direct donations to candidates, which federal law caps at modest sums—Republicans took in 27 percent more from the Top 100 families than Democrats did ($85.9 million vs. $67.9 million).

But looking at all federal contributions, including “soft money,” a category that tallies the generous donations allowed to party committees and the unrestricted contributions to SuperPACs, Republicans raked in a whopping $508 million from the Top 100—triple the Democrats’ $169 million take.

I wonder how long until the parties coffers are empty again, especially since Trump packed the RNC and is funnelling all the money his way, leaving nothing for downballot. September? October? Will the RNC get another billion dollar “mystery” donation in the 11th hour like in 2020, when they also couldn’t balance their checkbook?

Sigh. I really wish Rs take the biggest asswhooping theyve ever seen, like the blue version of Reagans revolution. But even if Dems had a supermajority in the house and senate I wouldn’t expect much from it. Public opinion isn’t the $$$ opinion. We are, scientifically proven, statistically irrelevant towards influencing lawmakers on what laws govern us.

Fuck Biden and Fuck his genocidal friends. I’m not interested in capitulating our democracy to the fascists so I’ll vote for him but you can bet your mother’s ass I’m protesting more in the next 4 years than all my years before. We need to bring back Occupy, decentralized but with defined demands. End corporate home ownership, forcing a firesale. Bring wall street to heel or we just burn it down.
