Got banned from a supposedly safe space ahem r/fantasy ahem for calling out that recommending a mormon and Zionist author Sanderson to an east asian looking for hope is ironic.

Damn, that sucks. I literally just finished the Mistborn trilogy on Friday and it has become one of my favorite series. I haven’t had a series I enjoyed like that in like a decade or so. Do you by any chance have links to comments he’s made about Zionism or anything like that?

Afaik, because of his book legion, I am in a dilemma whether to read it for myself but the facts are that the books are set in a place inspired by Jerusalem and tries to glorify the settlers and also he has been to Israel multiple times for book signings iirc.
