What impacts the longevity of these?

From my outside of it all perspective, witchcraft and the weather could predict that as much as anything. I’ve seen blockbusters stay up for ever and low budget B-movies get taken down in no time.

That’s kind of what I wondered, there are a couple of documentaries that I have had bookmarked, possibly for as long as 10 years, and they still exist. Pretty sure they are on thr producer’s page, tho. Not sure of I have ever watched anything mainstream on there or not.

Youtube uses automated content detection systems such as these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_ID on behalf of copyright holders. Sometimes the copyright holders don’t care, sometimes the detection systems screw up, and sometimes the posters have licensed the content.
