I mean i understand why there is a negative attitude about the American dream. The basic goals including having a house, married with two kids, and job and financial security are just up and unreachable even when working hard. This lack of stability also prevents other interpretations of the American dream from happening.

My thing is, the Wikipedia page points out that the American dream is in flux recognizing that past milestones are a poor and unreachable goal. Its a sad fact but i don’t see it as a funny irony. Unless there was an aspect of the wiki page he would like to point out.
