Allen plays a “stubborn” widower who owns a classic car restoration shop, with a young son and an estranged daughter (Dennings) who has to move back in with him. She’ll undoubtedly be a failure because she has a college degree in woke feminism or whatever, and he has to set her straight with his common sense Republican values.
Dennings is playing the daughter and it would be a stretch for her to play teenaged.
