Hmm looks like the auto pinning/unpinning to community didn’t work.

I don’t think sydbot is a mod of Sydney.
When I go to your profile it lists the communities you’re a mod of but I don’t see any for sydbot. Similarly sydbot does not show the green [M] badge like the one appended to your username when you post or comment in a community you’re a mod of.

Huh, weird! It isn’t… I see in the modlog that I did it yesterday. Not sure if anyone un-appointed it as a mod but it’s not in the modlog. Let’s try again and see if it works.
If you tried again I don’t think it worked. Perhaps only admins can add mods. Let’s ask @lodion@aussie.zone if that’s the case. Do mentions create user notifications/messages or do you have to message folks directly?
