I wouldn’t suggest anything really. I do the same thing. You can change the ring to some other setting if you want (or turn it off)

No, I mean, what would you suggest as an alternative F-stop for this scene? 😊

Ah, F2.8 is fine. The background being blurred out is good because the focus should be entirely on the model. You could stop down or use a strong ND filter and try and do a long exposure to get the water nice and blurry.
