Several weeks ago I answered my VoIP phone after an unknown caller dialed one of my DID numbers (only cause I was job-searching at the time). Think it was a sneaky push-poll for the mayoral race on behalf of Rene Gonzales. For over 30min I gave honest answers to the questions posed by the professional-sounding young lady conducting the poll (which were largely “I do not find the statement at all convincing”). Very subtle, but on reflection I felt there were insidious undertones in her questions meant to stoke fear about Carmen Rubio’s record on issues related to homelessness.
First time I’d participated in something like this; anyone else have a similar experience?
I’ve had push polls like this before, but nothing yet this cycle. The only polls I’ve had were for state senate and representative.
My beef with Rubio is the whole traffic ticket thing. Not a good look for a public servant.
