Beehaw is pretty much whatever that one admin wants. They post constantly and want to get rid of anything they don’t personally like.
Yep, I signed up to Beehaw recently, and I started a little community about conservative socialist stuff. Just after naming it, “Socialist Conservative” and posting one article, I get a PM from that admin that said, “What is this about?”
And as I was actually responding, he deleted the community and then banned me from the site. I didn’t even have time to finish my reply to him! I was legit in the middle of replying and when I clicked the “reply” button, screen refreshed and I saw that I was banned.
It all happened within less than 5 minutes. So I’m like, ok, whatever. Glad I know how much of a jerk he is.
Even tho, isn’t the whole Beehaw motto, “Be nice”? lol

Socialist conservative: someone who advocates for economic equality and social welfare while valuing social structures, stability, and a strong sense of community.
And I’ve never said anything different. I didn’t vote for Trump. I didn’t vote for Harris.
I voted for a Socialist party. Just like I said I would. So what “mask” do you think has suddenly come off?
I haven’t changed any of my views.
And plenty of Lemmy communities still want to ban those views. Just like always. :)
