I’m making an arabic lemmy instance but struggling with english-only usernames 😞 .
Had to face this error when I tried to tweak the UI to accept arabic letters.
Sent the request, then got : SyntaxError: Unexpected end of JSON input

Sorry, this isn’t an answer to your question, but please invite me when you make the instance. Would love an Arabic speaking lemmy, and I’ll help promote it as well.
