Is water lily, or is lotus? Great pic! I really like to visit botanical gardens, and conservatories. They are filled with wonder. Hmm, there’s a bee event at our botanical garden, right now. Alas, I can’t bee there. LoL

Glad you like it and lovely pun. I definitely encourage making use of your local botanical gardens, especially if they are free. I’ve always taken them for granted, but I was shocked to learn that many cities don’t have free ones or botanical gardens at all. As far as your question goes, I believe it is a water lily, I looked it up and found this:

The biggest difference between a lily and a lotus is the shape of the leaves and flowers. The water lily grows a big lily pad with a notch, while the lotus grows a perfectly round lily pad.

Water lilies also have leaves that float directly on the water, while lotus leaves hover above the water by six inches or more. Water lilies have pointy leaves that are thick and waxy. The lotus plant has round leaves that are thin and papery.
