I stopped at ā€œliberalsā€

Politics discussions using ambiguous slang is an instant turn off for me tbh

ā€˜liberalsā€™ isnt ambiguous slang. equating ā€˜the leftā€™ with liberals is just being stupid.

ā€˜liberalsā€™ isnt ambiguous slang

Without a qualifier, I find itā€™s used in a negative way to ā€fill in the blank" with whatever an OCā€™s target demographic is IMOā€¦ generally any hopes of having a rational conversation with OC may as well be be flushed down the toilet after observing that kind of usage

As a sidenote, in a political context I donā€™t think it captures someoneā€™s alignment in a universally understandable way. Different people with different perspectives interpret the literal phrasing ā€œliberalsā€ from their own POV.

equating ā€˜the leftā€™ with liberals is just being stupid.

I agree.
