I never thought it would happen. I assumed he wanted to break the PL goals record too much to want to leave but I was wrong. I hope the team invests the money wisely and not like they did with Bale but I donât have faith in that. Good luck Harry, hope you do some great things over there.
The âno trophiesâ narration probably really got him unfortunately. Maybe if Haland wasnât at City heâd feel that new goalscoring that heâd get wouldnât last as long as Shearer. Also I was hoping that the contract with FCB will be shorter so thereâs a glimmer of hope that he comes back to claim the record later on but it seems unlikely now.
It seems that transfer approach has changed to data driven so thereâs higher probability that there will be less disappointments than after Bale.
