Phil Dy posted his review on Maria
As much as I admire Leni Robredo, I don’t think this documentary gained anything by covering her. A lot of it has been covered before, and I’m not sure we gain any new insight into anything by talking to her. She says some nice things, but it feels like time spent with her takes away time from the stories of victims. She’s a marquee name that is very good on camera, but I don’t know that this movie really needed her.
