Watson and Wraith from Apex Legends.

Apex needs more wholesome charachters.

Every legends personality is just “rude, arrogant and edgy as fuck”.

There’s basically just Gibby and Watson, who are different. And Watson’s personality is 80% puns, which I like.

Is it too much to ask that a squad-based game not to have character that constantly spout one-liners shitting on teammates and opponents alike?

Lifeline is ok, but she’s not exactly written to be humble.

Pathfinder is wholesome AF. That’s literally his whole thing.

Though i agree, we need a genuinely wholesome character to match poor pathy.

It’s not just wholesomeness I miss. I just want something other than toxic caricatures of cocky gamers. They’re all personifications of “I’m bout to hard carry my worthless teammates and shit all over everyone on this server”.

That’s why I genuinely liked the Team Fortress 2 cast. They’re also caricatures, but at least they got a variety of madness spread across them.

Not true. Mirage isn’t like that. Neither is Gibraltar or lifeline. Or even wraith TBH.

The only characters who are like that are Rampart, Valkyrie, revenant, Maggie. And octane.
