Catholic pedophiles are 4%, which is massively higher than the general population. And even those who aren’t directly victimizing children are participating in a system that covers up the crimes and protects the predators.

4% isn’t even bad for people in a position of power. That’s probably normal considering around ~5% of the population has pedophilic urges. And there is no “cover up,” the Church takes abuse very seriously.
