If you are registered on an instance other than lemmynsfw, you or someone on your instance have to be subscribed to the community in question and you have to have set “Show NSFW” in your settings to see NSFW content.
It seems that my settings were all correct and it was working all along. At least if I visit gonewild I do see the posts. I was just confused that I’m not seeing NSFW posts in the lemmynsfw feed but I’m starting to think I’m just misunderstanding the fundamentals of lemmy. I’m still a little lost about how to navigate this universe, as it were. If I look at lemmynsfw all I see is informational posts like this one, no actual NSFW content at all. Am I supposed to go to communities within lemmynsfw? Sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask these kind of questions by the way.
