It’s beyond silly to hide behind “safety” to disallow independent right to repair. If they’re actually worried the USgov can institute a licensing procedure as to who is qualified to work on such systems if need be. Why must the manufacturer be the only one trusted with this system, other than for monopolistic profiteering putposes?
