Hello! I made a post on the old subreddit previously asking for recommendations for cheap 36ish key keyboards. You all have so many helpful responses and I ended up ordering the parts for a Cheapino (https://github.com/tompi/cheapino) and want some advice for tenting these just pcb style boards. Hackysack?

Weird, I deleted all the descriptors before submitting the comment. Also, I can’t remove it because my lemmy app doesn’t have an edit capability, and being so new here I’m not exactly sure how to find this post on the web to see if I can edit it there…

If you open lemmy in a browser this reply should be a notification that can be seen by clicking the bell icon. From there you can find this post.
But your messages are also visible in your profile, this can be found by clicking your name in the top -> profile.

Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn’t exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

No excessive posting/“shilling” for commercial purposes. Vendors are permitted to promote their products/services but keep it to a minimum and use the [vendor] flair. Posts that appear to be marketing without being transparent about it will be removed.
