Lemmy makes its image previews proportional rather than squashing them into a square, as kbin presently does, for one.
What’s funnier is that Kbin squashes them into a square and then seem to stretch that square into some strange almost 3:2 landscape format.
I tried to add some custom CSS with Tampermonkey to fix the thumbnails, and was extremely confused until I realised what was happening.
Well that’s a thing! I had noticed that but not thought much on it. i imagine Earnest has that on his todo list already, but there’s a lot on there!
Heh. Last I looked there were 49 open PRs for him to review. I dunno if he’s going to have a chance to actually code himself if he has to also be reviewing all the patches people are sending him.
I also saw something recently saying that he handed off the server admin work to someone.
EDIT: Apparently he’s not the only one reviewing.
