I’d say you’d have to be a legend of the club. The six that have them are Wenger and Chapman, legendary managers; Friar, whose years of servitude are longer than most fans have been alive; Henry and Bergkamp, who are Invincibles and two of the most popular players ever for this club, etc. etc.; and Adams is literally Mr. Arsenal.

Walcott was amazing, but not up there. There’s more ahead of him tbh. Hell, Graham doesn’t even have one.

@Astrealix @kleautviool I see Wrighty has a bust, a nice compromise, perhaps?
Personally, although I have VERY fond memories of Walcott’s Arsenal days, I don’t think he makes the cut for the sort of truly iconic status required to be made into a literal icon

I agree with everything. I started following Arsenal in 2010 and watching Walcott just outpace everyone made me fall in love with him very quickly. He definitely had some great moments for the club and contributed greatly over his decade here, but hes still a tier or two below those who are enshrined outside the Emirates

Definitely closer to two imo, love the guy but the lack of titles over the past two decades puts a dampener on most players since the Invincibles.
