I just discovered https://baraza.africa/, which is an African focused instance.

Quite interesting to me as I’m not that familiar with that continent.

https://fanaticus.social/ is interesting to follow professional sports

These links take me to the home page of the instance in a browser. How can I find communities in the instance and follow them in my Lemmy app (I use connect)?

copy the url, go to the login page of connect, paste the url in the “instance” input field and login as a guest

I usually add new communities while logged in on the browser, I just copy the URL into the search bar. I mostly use tools like https://www.search-lemmy.com/
