for Spotify, i can just download a Spotify premium APK. i know i can’t do anything for tidal, as HiFi and HiFi+ are server side. anything for Deezer or qobuz? basically I’m just looking for HiFi audio
Depends where you live, regarding the VPN I mean. I’ve never used a VPN in my life, but, than again, I live in 3rd world country (kinda…). It’s a P2P protocol, so if you block P2P on your firewall, yeah, in most cases, Soulseek gets blocked as well.
Regarding the download speed, they have like maybe 100, 200 users that carry most of the load, so they have to limit traffic per peer 🤷.
You have to define a shared folder/folders, that’s how you share. So, share your music library and off you go. Sooner or later, you’ll show up in search results and people will start downloading from you.
