True. I think the only solution is growing your own veggies and only buying the ones you canβt grow. For example- iβll buy few chooks and thatβll help me with my eggs supply also grow lettuce, beans etc. Now if everyone starts doing this, demand is reduce and supply will increase.
Probably beyond the reach of most people, for example if you arenβt prepared to cull the chickens at some stage youβll be feeding an aging flock that isnβt producing eggs for years. Feeding then properly is expensive unless you let them free range and feed them scraps which will in turn reduce the eggs they are likely to lay
