Yeah, the feeling of chatting with considerate adults is slipping. Iā€™ve started doing the Reddit thing of typing out a comment and then hitting the cancel button because I didnā€™t want to deal with contrarians.

Respond with contrarian-bait and then go slap-happy with blocks. Eventually the professional contrarians vanish from your feed never to be seen again.
