While in other parts of the world it’s mostly at the expense of other Android phone manufacturers, it’s interesting to see that in Japan the Pixel is actually eating at the iPhone’s market share:

In Japan, the Pixel went from a 2% market share in Q2 2021 to 12% in Q2 2023, while the iPhone fell from 58% to 46% in the same period.

Vatious other companies including Chinese and domestic makers. We also have a lot of “feature phones” that range from being basically an old flip-phone to nearly-a-smartphone.

I wonder whether they include the OnePlus in “Oppo” (since technically they’re both owned by the same parent company) or “others”.
