Why can't I subscribe to communities in other instances? (lemmy.ml)

I got the Pending Subscription message for days. I tried multiple instances with the same result.

I get that when i try to subscribe to a community in lemmy.ml (the instance you’re using), but most beehaw communities work just fine.
