Itās so fucking cringe. I work in tech, I see how weirdly women get treated and I see their unusually high turnover rate. Early on I was told āwomen donāt last long hereā and it was very true, that woman in particular quit to do freelance work (good for her). Why canāt women have a job fair? Men donāt fucking need one, NEARLY ALL of the other tech job fairs are dominated by men.
Iām really being sincere, but why would men magically not need a job fair? They can also be unemployed and struggle to get a job. Thatās not a 2x specific issue.

Whatās worse is when you see workplaces that want more women for only the idea it will ābring up the standardā likeā¦.I think thereās something telling about the culture alone if they need a specific gender to help understand better standards of working. I agree with you, itās just not the way the laws were written.
If woman want a job fair they should create one that actually only allows women, but given no one seems to have a definition for women, it might be hard to do.
Federal anti-discrimination laws disallow this. It has nothing to do with the ādefinition of womenā.

No it does not. The problem was with men that lied about their gender.
