“Aliens aren’t furry”
Are you seriously going to say that when Chewbacca is one of the most well known sci-fi aliens and is a literally walking carpet of floof? And in a similar Star Warsy vein, what about all the Bothans that died to get the Death Star plans before Disney decided to retcon that and say that there was a defector on the engineering team instead?
Anyway, what about servals? As in the adorable spotty leggy jumpy cats that have kinda gone viral in the cat memes scene recently?
You know what, I’m gonna agree with this! If we consider original species like Sergals, Protogens, Avali, and Dutch Angel Dragons to count as furry, then logically Wookiees, Bothans, Kzinti, Pokemon, and all other animal-adjacent aliens have to count too. Furry is either restricted just to real world animals, or it includes fictional species as well, whether that’s mythological creatures, fandom species, or community-created species.
I swear to fucking god I forgot about chewbacca 💀 And didn’t know about Bothans much tbh, but aliens still feel like a different catrgory for me.
As for servals Idk, I think they’re cool but I just don’t like them very much personally, don’t take it too seriously tho, my sona is a fox and I ranked it F anyways.
Even if the alien is straight-up an anthropomorphic animal, like a Caitian from Star Trek?
Yeah cuz, like of course it’s a furry, but just because it’s an anthro cat. Not all aliens are furries and not all furries are aliens.
