Do genocides usually start by telling civilians to evacuate for their own safety?
EDIT: Israel is absolute shit but, you guys are never going to talk (or downvote, LOL) me into supporting civilian hostage takers. It’s a damn shame that you don’t have the capacity to feel shame.
This is not a binary choice. It’s not just “support Israel’s civilian-killing activities” or “support Hamas’ civilian-killing activities”, with no other options. That’s a false dichotomy of the highest order.
I don’t support either of those options. They need to find some other approach.
In six days, Israel has dropped 6,000 bombs on the besieged coastal enclave, which is home to 2.3 million Palestinians. Half of them are children. This falls just short of the highest number of bombs dropped by the US in a year in the war on Afghanistan.
Read it carefully again. Then read the article. Then sit back on your couch for five minutes and contemplate. Then think about the propaganda you’re spreading… “but we gave them warnings” wink wink
The million+ children of Gaza are Not Hamas.
The million+ children of Gaza are Not Hamas.
Correct. They are human shields for Hamas.
Ethnic cleansing is the systematic forced removal of ethnic, racial, and religious groups from a given area, with the intent of making a region ethnically homogeneous. Along with direct removal, extermination, deportation or population transfer, it also includes indirect methods aimed at forced migration by coercing the victim group to flee and preventing its return, such as murder, rape, and property destruction.
Does telling civilians to leave for their own safety count as a kindness if you subsequently bomb refugee camps?
