I’m a beginner. I’ve used Charge Blade extensively I know it’s a technical weapon but CPP and other wirebind skills make it really fun to use. I’m thinking of picking an alternate weapon to use as a main. I didn’t like the Lance felt really slow. Was thinking of using long sword again what do you guys recommend for a melee focused playstyle. Also people say long sword is DPS focused and becomes difficult to play in the long run what does that mean?

You’ll pry my Great Sword from my cold dead hands. No matter the meta it’s always at least decent, and dead simple to be effective with. Difficult against mons with quick attacks that have a wide range, though (e.g. Gore Magala).
