Choppier on Pixel 8 Pro versus Pixel 6?

Anyone else come from a regular Pixel 6 over to a Pixel 8 Pro notice that the games are a bit choppier?

I suppose it’s the higher resolution… but you would think that the increase in processing power would have been in lockstep with the increase in resolution. Or maybe it’s something else. Ideas?

Edit: huh, noticing scrolling stuttering here in Lemmy Sync, where I didn’t notice it on the Pixel 6 😳

I am also seeing lag when going ‘back’ in Lemmy using Liftoff app.
