Like for me (male) for example, I like being dominant irl. Not as much as being submissive, but still. In porn though, it turns me off massively when men are dominant.

Porn categories in general are off-putting. In addition to your example there’s also “lesbian” which is two females enacting something for the interest of the male viewer. Cuckolding and sph are massively irritating and harmful as well in my opinion.

Unless the people involved are unaware that they are being recorded (which is nonconsensual and immoral), all porn is enacting something for the interest of the viewer. Most porn is watched by males, so… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s one thing to visit pornhub. It’s an entirely different thing to pay money for adult content. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly males that are paying.

Edit: My point being that most content is produced towards a male audience because that is where the money is. Likewise, male talent tends to make much less money than females doing heterosexual porn.
