His legs look absolutely cooked which makes any positioning errors more obvious because he can’t run well enough. It’s been made worse by how United have been playing, with an imbalanced midfield and a high press so there is no one to cover for him.

It’s clear that Case needs a double pivot partner but I’m not sure what the option is out there that both covers defensively as well fixing some of their ball progression issues.
