Theres so many weird things about it and i dont think ive ever heard a solid explanation for everything.

I never found any explanation convincing until Matt Christman suggested that the CIA tried to stage an assassination attempt and accidentally killed the president during it. That story just…it feels more like the world I know than any other scenario.

I just like imagining the transformation from “we’re gonna put the fear of communism into that bleeding heart pinko” to “oh fuck we just killed the president, OH GOD OH FUCK WE JUST KILLED THE PRESIDENT”
