People who go commando (don't wear underwear), how do you make it work?

Iโ€™ve always been curious, because Iโ€™m not fond of underwear, but I donโ€™t know how people make it work. Wouldnโ€™t you have to wash the trousers every single day? How else would you keep them fresh? Do you use special deodorant for the area or panty liners on the trousers?

Boxers provide a layer between you and the pants. With commando the pants would need washing sooner.
