I’m in ohio, and was excited to vote for yes on issue one and two. I put on my Philadelphia Eagles hoodie and walked to my polling station

There was a coffee station run by a local. He was a thin man head full of grey hair and thick rimmed glasses, he was sitting at the time.

I decided to get a cup of coffee for the walk back. As I filled up my cup the local behind the table stood up and asked:

“Can I pray for you, for somthing”

I smiled and quipped: “yea, for a healthy eagles team”

He stammered: “I, uh, well how about this. I’ll pray for the best team to win and hopefully its the eagles”

You would of thought I short circuit a robot. Was he expecting a selfish answer? Perhaps expecting me to be troubled? Or was he a bengals fan and didn’t want to admit it?

All I know is the gentleman in ear shot overheard and gave me a bellowed laugh. It was short, but funny.

You probably shouldn’t’ve worn an Eagles jersey then.
