Hi everyone,

I am currently planning to run an ethernet cable to the upstairs of the house, however, the walls have corrugated ducts to run the cables through, I would like your opinion on whether it is necessary to run a shielded cable through this duct or it can be unshielded.

NOTE: These ducts do not carry electrical wires.

“planning to run an ethernet cable” ==> “planning to run several ethernet cables”

The labor is the real cost here. Never pull one if you can pull more than one at the same time.
