I have attempted to help make this easier to understand with the images.

I have BT Homehub 2, a Netgear switch then I have the bedrooms and lounge with ethernet running to the switch.

The switch and homehub are under the stairs where the line comes in.

Previously I had the standard setup but I wanted to extend my wireless without halving the bandwidth so used a TP link router in a bedroom wired in as an access point. I think this worked but the range was limited in the garden and on the top floor. I had the main modem/router on channel 1 and the AP on channel 11.

I happened to acquire some Eeros 6 pro’s (2) and wanted to improve my networking, assuming with the costs of these it should be better. The first attempt, no real improvement and I thought maybe it’s due to the Eeros gateway being under the stairs so then moved this to the living room as it’s still ethernet but then I notice the garden/garage wifi is still not improved and the top floor not improved. I notice the ring doorbell now struggles with weak signal.

So then I decided to move the Eeros from bedroom 2 to bedroom 3 as this is closer to the doorbell and yet the doorbell still shows weak signal. while in this room the Eeros is not plugged in via ethernet as that is plugged in to my PC.

One thing I notice is the 2nd Eeros is not showing in the app as hard wired when it is, not sure if this is a bug or normal, or maybe this is an issue i’m having.

Please help

I’m sure there is some info i’m missing so will try and update or answer any questions quickly.

Thanks.

*quick edit* The homehub while using the Eeros’ is not broadcasting wifi, I made sure tboth 2.4GHz and 5GHz are turned off.
