There are great people on this site, but I donβt want to get so much hate from freeloading trolls. Especially when on other apps I get tips. Iβve gotten many cash app tips from other social media. Bye βοΈ
To advertise paid for content. Have you not been paying any attention? Lemmy is small, and people who make money from NSFW content are incentivized to advertise on the biggest sites. TikTok and Instagram donβt allow advertising, but Reddit and Twitter do. Thatβs where sex workers rope in new subscribers.
Thereβs a tradeoff, Lemmy could be a great place to post because itβs low volume and your stuff will get seen for sure. Reddit subs like /r/gonewild have so much volume youβre essentially gambling that your content will even make anyoneβs feed outside of /new, but that makes you less memorable if you do show up too.
Unfortunately I think Lemmy is not going to generate good leads.
A lot of the users here seem anti-capitalism/money/payment in any way and can be militantly so.
Iβm here for the privacy, but I think people like me would be hard pressed to enter their credit card info on a porn site.
