I am replacing some old APC units at the house and am looking at the Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD units. The house has 110/120 but is 50Hz (as is much of the world). Generally using 60Hz devices is not a problem - I have ceiling fans, TVs, wine refrigerator, and more from the US (so 60Hz) all running fine.

Anyone have engineering experience on the impacts of newer UPS units designed for 60Hz but getting 50Hz? Thanks.

Most UPS support 50/60hz… Just so you know power line frequency is never perfect…

Some do although others, CyberPower for example and some APC units are listed at 60Hz ±3Hz. It seems some Eaton Triplite units are rather at 50/60. I wish they all were such … 👍
