I am thinking about upgrading my router. I am not a super advanced user. Got a Synology NAS with a few docker containers running. I had my eyes on the GL-iNet Flint (or the newer Flint 2). Additionally I was wondering if it would make more sense to maybe get the Synology RT6600ax. But the Flint is significantly cheaper.

Any thoughts on those two models or any other recommendations that are easy to setup and don’t break the bank?

Not a great forum for this answer or you should specify how much traffic you are pushing on your self hosted, home network and whether or not you expect to use the routers tunneling.

That said, I’m a fan of the glinet stuff having used the mango and opal. But for any serious hosting you’ll need more than the ports provided on those travel routers.
