I wish people wouldn’t delete their accounts. I’ve put information out there that I WANT people to see and find. Reddit admins shouldn’t be able to take away the wealth of knowledge redditors have given the world in the last decade.

It will be there, it will just list the user as “deleted.”

I am so glad to hear that! There is so much information on Reddit, my heart aches at the thought of people wiping it away.

Even during the blackouts, I sometimes googled things only to find Reddit posts with the answers weren’t available to view. It was startling
