I read in an interview that he doesn’t speak much turkish and doesn’t understand it well, but he would play for them if it wouldn’t work out for germany(and his dad would be more happy then). Basically he is waiting for a call and would love to play at the tournament, at the moment he would prefer germany because he grew up there.
