View all comments They had 4 takeaways and scored 12 points. He wasn’t exactly dropping in dimes 30 yards downfield all night. The Bears’ coaching staff doesn’t trust him to throw ball past the line of scrimmage half the time and I can’t blame them.

He can make the throws, he just holds on to the ball too damn long and ends up rushing for a +/- 2 yard gain, doesn’t show up on the stat sheet.

I mean that kind of means he can’t consistently make the throws. He has the arm for it - but he consistently misses reads and/or just can’t pull the trigger on anticipation throws.
It’s maddening to watch - every game there are too many plays where I’m yelling “throw the fucking ball”
