OGS is from my home town so I’ve got a little sweet spot for that man.
I’m not as critical as others about his tenure. I believe he was actually on to something, building up the aura and team spirit and so on.
We know how fucked Manure are from the top to bottom, so it’s a shit situation for anybody.
I firmly believe that the club fucked him over when they bought Ronaldo. They were actually progressing a little bit as a team until that point, but that situation ruined everything for OGS. Ronaldo was the last thing that team and dressing room needed.
(I’m not saying they would be title challengers, but OGS was a better coach for Manu than what the media/mob wanted you to believe)
