I understand what you’re trying to show but this doesn’t really work. Every one of the categories you list could also include members of the LGBTQI+ community. Also the numbers should be relative to the proportion of each group in society and not raw counts in order to really answer the question.

I don’t think there is a question. There’s nothing that points to the lgbt community being inherently more likely to commit sex crimes than heterosexuals or any other marginalized group. The right needed a new scapegoat after they had finally gutted roe vs wade and they had an easy target. The exact same tactic was used by the nazis when they focused in on Jewish people and since republican organizations and leaders keep quoting Hitler, collecting his belongings, or citing his influence, it’s not hard to see where this came from.

That to me is a much bigger question that should be investigated. Why do people fall into extremist cults? Why are people so easily hypnotized by political leaders into fanatical states. How do people get collectively driven to genocide?

And then when we are done with that, we can open an investigation into why right wing politicians are orders of magnitude more likely to commit sex crimes? I believe I saw where Republican politicians are 6 times more likely to be arrested with a prostitute.

Its almost as if the actual sex predators formed a political group, draped themselves in the American flag holding a Bible, and picked a vulnerable community to direct the publics anger. That would certainly be convenient if you were a child sex predator. Hrmm.

Anyone with half a brain cell knows it’s not the LGBTQIA+ community grooming children, and the data shows it. It’s priest, family members, and teachers. Anyone who was actually a member of the alphabet mafia would be shouted from the rooftops by Fox, just like they did when the trans person committed a mass shooting, ignoring that White Men commit them at like 1000x times the rate of trans people.

It’s not mine. I saw it on *eddit with a tiktok video where she lists proportion of each group in society alongside the raw counts. They collect the data by scrawling news portal for cases against children and vetting them manually. So those individuals were not publicly an LGBTQI+ if you’re implying that. If you’re saying that there could be unreported cases, well sure nothing’s impossible. But here they’re reporting data that is available in the public domain. If you look for unreported cases the other groups would have a much larger sample as well. I think Kristen explains things nicely in her tiktoks, you may wanna check it once in the *eddit post.
