/c/all is now predictably cluttered with porn from the lemmynsfw instance. Can we get a block instance option in the instance page, instead of having to block each individual instance?

As a related request, would you be open to a feature like a “blocked share list” that somebody can import? You could use it to maintain and share a list of onlyfans accounts if you don’t want to see them, for instance.

Thanks for all your work!

Yes, this is incredibly necessary since stuff like lemmingrad and .ml exist. I’m sure many other people have their preferences as well.

I don’t necessarily want to see a random butthole while scrolling the feed next to my gf. (I know we can blur NSFW, but after reddit, openning blurry images is an invoulantary action)

Hey, sometimes a random butthole is what keeps things exciting, alright? It’s the little things @Prandom_returns@lemm.ee , it’s the little things.

Maybe we can arrange a “random butthole” toggle for such needs? lol

Can’t you just use the “Show NSFW Content” toggle in your Lemmy account settings?

A lot of war stuff is marked as NSFW, I’d like to stay as up to date with it as possible.

Ah, makes sense.

If you log onto your instance in-browser you can hide NSFW content completely, not just blur it. This setting then persists across whatever client you use now or in future. Like you could on Reddit.

I’ve done this for what will now be my “main” username (this account), to make it literally safe for work, and then, like I did over there, have a secondary account with NSFW allowed on for… y’no… science.

Hope this helps:)

Glad I’m not the only person who is blind to NSFW. Feel we need a porn equivalent to NSFL, if that make sense?

Yes, some sort of differentiation between NSFW/NSWL is desperately needed! This might have to be done at the lemmy backend level, maybe?

Exactly - I’m an old lady, I don’t give a shit about porn, but I do watch a lot of videos from Ukraine, etc. I hate that blocking NSFW blocks both types of content.
